We make professional writing free for everyone.
DocForge AI is a small project with a simple belief: the documents people need to do their jobs — proposals, SOPs, job descriptions — shouldn't sit behind a paywall or a sign-up form. So we built free AI tools that anyone can use, instantly.
Make professional document writing free and accessible.
Every day, millions of people sit down to write a business proposal, an SOP, or a job description — and stare at a blank page. The premium tools that promise to help cost $20-$100 a month, require an account, and often a credit card. That locks out founders, students, small teams, and anyone in a hurry.
We believe writing a solid first draft should be as easy as running a search. So we built three focused AI tools that take a few structured inputs and produce a polished, editable Markdown document in seconds. No login. No watermark. No upsell.
Why we built DocForge AI
DocForge AI started as a weekend hack. We kept seeing friends and colleagues waste hours hunting for templates, copy-pasting from old documents, or paying for SaaS tools they'd use twice a year. Meanwhile, modern AI language models had gotten good enough to draft a genuinely useful first version of these documents — if you could give them the right structure and context.
So we wrote carefully tuned prompts for three of the most commonly-requested document types — business proposals, SOPs, and job descriptions — and wrapped them in a fast, no-nonsense interface. The result: a tool that feels less like a chatbot and more like a colleague who has done this a hundred times.
We pay the bills through unobtrusive ads. That keeps the tools free for everyone, no strings attached.
Transparent by design
Under the hood, each tool is a carefully engineered prompt sent to a modern large language model. Here's the end-to-end flow, in plain English:
- You fill in a short, structured form — company name, project details, tone, length, and so on. Each field maps to a specific part of the final document.
- When you click Generate, we package those inputs into a system prompt that defines the document's structure, audience, and quality bar — plus a user message containing your specific details.
- We send that prompt to a third-party AI model via our backend. Your inputs are not stored on our servers. They're processed in-memory for the duration of the request and then discarded.
- The model returns a complete Markdown document, which we render in your browser with copy and download options.
- Your most recent documents (up to 12 per tool) are saved in your browser's localStorage so you can reload them later. They never leave your device.
AI output is a starting point, not a finished product. Large language models can produce plausible-sounding but factually wrong text. Always review, edit, and verify before relying on a generated document — especially for legal, financial, or hiring-related decisions.

The DocForge AI team
We're a small, distributed team of engineers, designers, and writers who've spent years building products for startups, agencies, and enterprise teams. We started DocForge AI because we kept needing exactly these tools ourselves — and we figured if we needed them, so did a lot of other people.
We don't have a giant About page with headshots because the focus should be on the tools, not on us. If you want to chat — about a feature request, a bug, a partnership, or just to say hi — please reach out. We read every message.
